Fitness & Nutrition Coach

ABOUT ME

I am a natural, bodybuilding champion and have worked in the health and fitness industry for the last 15 years.

I've held several positions with sports nutrition companies. During this time, I worked in the research departments and would spend a good portion of my day reading studies on various nutrients. My interest would sway towards research related to exercise and nutrition and is reflected in my programming. I take an evidence-based approach to fitness and nutrition. You will also notice in my Blog, I write quite extensively about the latest research on nutrition/dieting, training and overall health.

Speaking of writing, I have written for various fitness magazines and have been Editor-in-Chief of two publications: Muscle News and Muscle Insider.

I am a Certified Personal Trainer with the NSCA and a PN Certified Coach in Exercise Nutrition. I have helped numerous people reach their physique goals and I am confident I can help you too.

I specialize in customized training and nutritional programs.

I work with men and women of all ages who vary in their experience with exercising and following a specific diet to reach their goals.

Programs are highly detailed. You'll know exactly what you need to do in the gym and kitchen. Everything is laid out to help you become efficient and fast track your results.

Training plans are designed to help you reach your physique goals while considering your fitness level, training experience, age, the equipment you have access to, any injuries or movement restrictions you may have and how it all fits into your lifestyle.

All training programs come with detailed exercise descriptions and videos. This helps take the guesswork out of how to do the exercises properly so you make the most out of your time in the gym.

My nutritional programs include only foods you like. I provide you with a detailed list of foods and you let me know what can be included in your meal plan.

I offer multiple daily meal plans based on the number of meals you want. You also have the capability to swap out foods, while still maintaining the integrity of the overall diet. As they say, variety is the spice of life, but I’ve also found that it helps people stick to their plan too.

Once you receive your program you’re set up with an online account to track your workout progress and to provide feedback on your overall program. You can even pair your Fitbit to your account to provide even more feedback. I use all this information to track your progress and make any necessary changes to your diet and training programs to keep you moving forward.

It’s a continuous process that requires constant feedback, refining and support. This is where the coaching comes in.

Changing your body requires a change in your mindset. This is the intangible piece of the puzzle that is essential for success, but can be elusive for so many.

Unfortunately, changing one’s mindset is not easy. It takes you out of your comfort zone and can be overwhelming, but that’s where I come in.

I am with you every step of the way and will help you embrace the choices, behaviors, and actions necessary to reach your goal and change your life.

I will help you to create balance between your goals and lifestyle, so can continue to progress, but not be chained to your diet and training program.

If you'd like to talk more about how I can help you, then feel free to send me a message by scrolling to the bottom of this page. I’d be happy to help. It could very well be the first step to creating a new you.
